Michael has been practising law for over 35 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience at both the State and Federal level. His broad-based practice includes Employment Law (acting for either the employer or the employee) and Litigation (personal injury, negligence and contractual disputes). Michael has a particular interest in assisting Veterans.

Michael is mindful that employers require sound legal advice and commercial outcomes in all of their employment related matters. To this end, Michael assists employers with all aspects of the employment relationship from start to end. If you are facing redundancy, believe that you have been under-paid, unfairly dismissed or have experienced discrimination in the workplace, it is important to obtain legal advice about your rights and responsibilities. Michael will provide you with concise, clear information and keep you informed of the progress of your matter every step of the way.

Michael was a principal of the firm from 1985 until 2016. He has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. Michael has been instrumental in training many of the younger solicitors of the firm.

Michael is married with two adult children.
