Kath has been practising law at Williams Winter for over 25 years. She has extensive experience in the areas of Elder Law, Wills and Estate Planning, Deceased Estates and Probate as well as Property Law.

If you wish to dispute a Will, Kath has the experience and know-how to provide you with practical and sound advice in order to achieve a cost-effective outcome. If you are an Executor and need to obtain Probate and administer an estate, she can assist you. If you need to apply to VCAT for the appointment of an administrator or guardian to look after an elderly relative, Kath can advise you about the application and appear at VCAT if required.

Whether you are making a Will, determining whether a Power of Attorney is required or establishing a trust, Kath can provide specialist advice to eliminate uncertainties. She is able to provide advice to Executors/Administrators, beneficiaries and to others affected by a Will.

Kath oversees the conveyancing staff in the firm. She also has a broad property practice. This practice includes property sales and purchases, subdivisions, loan agreements and general property law. Kath also assists with the training of junior solicitors and trainees.

Kath was admitted to practice in 1990, and has been a principal of the firm since 1996. She has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Jurisprudence from Monash University.

Kath is married with two children.
