Elizabeth has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial law with a particular emphasis on the hospitality industry. She also practises in the fields of planning and licensing, both in relation to liquor licensing and gaming transactions. She works closely with private individuals, businesses and the RSL of Victoria in these areas.

With over 15 years of experience, Elizabeth leads the firm’s commercial team. Elizabeth understands the importance of allocating the right resources at each stage of a transaction. This cost effective approach ensures that transactions are conducted in an economical way. From straightforward leases to large, complex sales of businesses, no matter the size and/or complexity of the transaction, no matter the industry sector, Elizabeth and her team strive to deliver the best available commercial outcome.

Elizabeth’s other areas of expertise include retail and commercial leasing, the purchase and sale of businesses, formation of partnerships, shareholders agreements, trusts and franchising. She is proficient at drafting complex loan agreements, including instalment warrants.

Elizabeth graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2000 with Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology). She was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2001. Elizabeth joined Williams Winter in 2007 and became a principal of the firm in 2010.

Elizabeth is married and has a young child.
